MEET Digital Culture Center presents Remix Me #4 special event on Thursday 9 March, an artistic project by the Crypto Art duo HACKATAO.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The REMIX ME art project was born from the collaboration of the pioneering Crypto Art duo <\/a>Hackatao<\/strong><\/a>, together with the Piselli and Partners law firm <\/strong>and the curator Eleonora<\/strong><\/a> <\/a><\/a>Brizi<\/strong><\/a> (Breezy <\/strong><\/a><\/a>Art)<\/strong><\/a>, and features over 40 artists on the NFT Makersplace platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE REMIX ME PROJECT AT<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>MEET MILAN<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

REMIX ME invites the Crypto <\/a><\/a>Art <\/a>creative community <\/a>to explore the meaning and implications of remixing a work of art, aware that the “remix art” phenomenon is long-standing, but investigating it in its manifestation in the world of NFTs and their relationship to copyright and copyrights. The project does not necessarily set out to give answers, but rather to start (in 2021) and continue to develop (today) the debate, comparison and discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NFT AND DYNAMIC TOKENS AS WORKS OF ART<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

All this through an artistic experiment where, starting from the original work of <\/a>Hackatao <\/a><\/a>REMIX ME, artists and creatives are invited to remix it and give their own vision of the work with the participation in three open-calls and suggesting a new perspective of regulation of recognized rights to artists and NFT owners. In turn, Hackatao will remix the remixes of their work, which will mutate its metadata within the NFT in which it was originally tokenized , using a special smart- contract named “Dynamic Token”. An NFT, therefore, that changes over time; an ever-evolving work of art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artistic collaboration, technology, new implications of intellectual property and copyright in the world of the web and the blockchain are all topics that will be discussed at MEET in a special evening. In a certain sense, MEET will also be \u201cremixed\u201d with a geo-localized augmented reality game inside and outside the building. As closing of the event, Hackatao will present the latest \u201cRemix of Remix of Remix\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
