Stop comparing yourself with other artists.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/artrights.me\/en\/the-most-used-social-networks-for-art\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>S<\/strong><\/a><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/artrights.me\/en\/the-most-used-social-networks-for-art\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ocial media<\/a><\/strong> are undoubtedly a great tool to give artists visibility. They can be inspiring to look at the works of others, but make sure you don&#8217;t fall into the trap of constantly comparing your work to someone else&#8217;s. <strong>Instead of competing and demoralizing yourself, use the power of social media as inspiration and to promote your work.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-don-t-have-too-high-expectations-of-yourself\"><strong>2. Don&#8217;t have too high expectations of yourself.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, having high goals is important, but situations must always be contextualized. Don&#8217;t <strong>be disappointed<\/strong> if few people attend your exhibition vernissage, if your <a href=\"https:\/\/artrights.me\/en\/instagram-stories-complete-guide-for-artists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Instagram posts<\/a> get fewer likes than expected, or if a sale fails.
